My name is Robyn and I have 2 beautiful daughters and a loving husband. I find I am most at peace when surrounded by those I love or working in my shop being creative. Most of the things I create are jewelry but I am getting into making other items. I follow wherever my creativity takes me :)

Spring Hinged Spoon Bracelet!

I make these bracelets using stainless steel throttle cable springs, because they hold up well, are flexible and don't break easily like the bracelets made with tiny hinges.
They take a lot of work to make but they are worth it because they will last πŸ₯°

This pattern is called Fortune and is from 1939.

It's FRIDAY!!! Make it a great one and have a fabulous weekend! πŸ«ΆπŸ’š

Saddle style spoon cuff bracelet with a side opening! ❀️

This style of cuff goes on a little differently, because of the opening being on the side. 😊

They are unique, statement pieces.

I'm going to be making more of these wind chimes!!! 🎢 🎡 πŸ„

I made mushrooms out of serving spoons, with the beautiful patterned handle as the stem, and took one of the filled butterknives I had sitting in a drawer, wire wrapped it to create loops for each strand (instead of drilling through the cement) and put them together using strong fishing line and beautiful glass beads πŸ₯°

Found a bunch of these spoons in a bag of silverware I got. I've never seen these before.

If my research is correct, these are "Flaming Cafe Spoons" from the 1960's-1970's. Pretty neat!
How the Flaming CafΓ© Drink is Made:
1. Hook the Spoon: Place the spoon on the rim of a steaming cup of black coffee.
2. Add Sugar: Place a sugar cube into the bowl of the spoon.
3. Pour Cognac: Slowly pour Hennessy over the sugar cube.
4. Ignite & Stir: Light the alcohol on fire with a match, let the sugar melt, and pour the flaming mixture into your coffee.

I found a purpose for the knife blades I removed from the handles to make pens!

I used them to make dragonfly wings πŸ₯° I also repurposed a skewer I found at a thrift store as the stake ☺️
