Kinsey, has been busy designing her own quilted jacket, she is more than half way completed.
She took a regular jacket pattern and did her own spin on it.
Besides using some of her sewing machines built-in designs, she has done freehand quilting on the various pieces of her jacket.
She is adding ribbing to some of the side seams for more flexibility when wearing her jacket.
Kinsey selected beige, tan and various pink fabrics and has also created a beautiful pieced Star block for the back of her jacket that makes it look "awesome"!

Well, it looks as though it's finally winter here in Idaho. We received 7" of snow as of yesterday and late last night. So cold and windy yesterday, today is actually very nice. The kids are sliding down the hill near our house as we hear their laughter.
We saw a neighbor pulling their kids on a sled behind their truck on our street. One thing for sure that's one of the rare elements you'll find out here and no one bugs you about it as long as everyone is safe.

Faith finished her apron along with her moms apron. Her mom couldn't have been more proud of her young daughter making her such a wonderful memory and one that will be used over and over again.
They were so excited about their aprons they even wore them to the market and of course received a lot of compliments!!
Awesome job Faith, we are all definitely very proud of all the good things you have sewn. 😊

Miss Faith is shown here finishing her tote bag project. She also learned how to hand sew the sea shell button that is part of the bag closure (which is seen on pic 2). She did an excellent job and I'm very proud of her. She said she loves to use pins to hold the fabric together for her to sew.
She's excited about sewing her mystery project which is a sewing homework project that I provide for students to keep them sewing till next lesson.
