Hey Everyone!
I hope everyone has been doing well through the pandemic. I know it has been a long time since I have posted. I'm really not a huge social media person. I wanted to let everyone know that I have posted on the website: intro adult classes and open sew class for other students that want to learn a specific sewing skill. I finally feel comfortable for group classes. I will add more in the future. I just had to get though my dog's ACL surgery.
I still have a few spots for kids April break classes.
Summer kids classes and camps are posted.
I wanted to show you guys pictures of many completed projects at the studio. Here at Sew Right Every Time we like to celebrate of victories and our sewing accomplishments!

Hey guys check out this AWESOME donation drive put together by some amazing young women! please help them if you are able and willing.

My name is Nora and I am 11 years old. I am in 5th grade at JMUES. I have been been a Girl Scout for six years and I am working on my Junior Girl Scout Bronze Award Project with a friend in my troop. We are working on a project to support the national organization Project Linus, which collects homemade blankets for children in need. My friend and I made an instructional video so others can join our efforts to make and donate a 40" x 60" no-sew fleece blanket. We also included information about Project Linus in our video. The link to our video is below.

Please join us in wishing 🥳🥳Lynnlee a Happy 13th Birthday today! 🥳🥳The pictures included are all of the gifts that she made for her family members for Christmas! Her family was sure spoiled this year. She outdid herself. We worked on the slug (with bendable eyes), the snowman, and the tool roll (that her dad thought she bought at home depot) together through zoom classes (so impressive!). She made the rest of the gift in her spare time! Go Lynnlee! Miss Doris and I have enjoyed getting to know you! We love your big loving heart and your wit! Enjoy your special day and welcome to your teen years yay!!

Check out how professional these pillows look. I love the way the fabrics go together! I agree with her husband that the pillows were too nice to give away. I don't know about you, but I would have loved to wake up to this gift on Christmas morning.

She also made that best ugly Christmas sweaters for her two nephews. They asked for her to make really ugly Christmas sweaters and boy did she come through for them. They loved their sweaters! One even included lights!

Check out all of these Christmas gifts that this student made for family members. This silly girl always loves to play tricks on me during sewing class. She definitely knows how to make me laugh! She made two Christmas trees. One was for her mom and the other was for Santa. (She said we had to make Santa a gift in order for Santa to give us good presents!) 🤣 good thinking! Please stay silly while you enjoy sewing!

These two cool kids joined us for classes over winter break. They are both big Harry Potter fans. Check out their reading pillows. They put canvas on the top of the pillow so that they can use markers to draw their own design on their pillows. Can you believe that this picture was from their first time machine sewing?!
The girl pictured is quite good at hand sewing. She told me about the abundance of hand sewing projects that she completed before her first machine sewing class.
The boy pictured went home after his first class and made 3 more pillows. He was a very productive sewist!
Keep up the good work! I hope you both continue to enjoy sewing!

This amazing 13 year old is modeling her beautiful window cushion. She had to measure the space exactly to make sure that it fit (not an easy task). As you can see, she did a pretty great job! The cushion fits perfectly in the space! It even has a long hidden zipper to remove the cover for washing.

I also included her beautiful purse that I was ready to take home with me lol! She quilted the fabric colors differently on both sides to make it go with different outfit. This difficult project included quilting small pieces of fabric together and she hand sewed the metal frame in!

But wait, she wasn't done there! She then decided to make masks as gifts for her family members and friends for Christmas. She put in nose wires and blasted the masks out. Wow! This student's work is very impressive!

Happy New Year everyone! I hope some new years resolutions include sewing more! As promised, we will start to post Christmas makes from our student. They totally nailed their gifts this year! Please show us/post your handmade gifts! We love to see creativity from everyone in handmade or sewing community!
