💜🩷 Before I deleted my last social media accounts, vintage hand-dyed lingerie is truly what launched a successful Etsy and Shopify store — that is, back when posts would make the explore page and actually gain a ton of traction! I started selling these in 2014, but they really took off for me in 2018 🩷💜

🩵 another idea for my ✨fabric anxiety✨ besties 🩵 framed swatches of your favorite prints so you can keep a piece forever even after giving your quilt or project away 🩵
• 3D print or buy a picture frame
• decoupage a piece of cardstock with Mod Podge by spreading it on both sides of the fabric making sure it penetrates the entire fabric for an even look — I used sparkly MP for the kitty & matte MP for the tiger
• hold down with pattern weights until dry
• optional: bedazzle the frame with pearls or crystals
• hang on wall or glue a magnet to the back with E6000 or other industrial glue

I am happy to do significantly reduced pricing for bulk pin or magnet orders. 🩵 posting a rare to make myself finally finish this granny square quilt 🩵
I’m using the free pattern for the blocks made up of my late aunt’s vintage fabrics, Ruby Star pastels, and a cohesive blender from In The Beginning.
I was on a roll with this before surgery and I am getting back to it. I overlocked the edges of my blocks because I wanted them a little more sturdy.

🩷🩵💜 My solution to getting rid of my “using the good fabric” anxiety that developed from my inability to use “the good stickers” as a mid-90s kid. Now I can always carry a piece of “the good fabric” with me.

I have made hundreds of fabric pins & magnets in the last 4 months. It was one of the only things I could easily make during surgery recovery too. Thank you to everyone who’s purchased these for QuiltCon or stocking stuffers or for yourself to put on your jean jackets, bags, and refrigerators.
