I was given a scrubs top and a school skirt and was asked to make a memory bunny with big floppy ears in memory of a beloved daughter who was born during Easter time. I also made a little heart plushie from the left over scraps that I just placed on her lap…and a little bow that clips onto her ear.💕This one took me a lot longer to make bc I finally took the time to draft a pattern for a dress. But instead of a gathered dress, I just used the existing pleats from the school skirt...Next sew will be a slew of memory bears!😅🧸🧸🧸🧸🧸🧸🧸🧸🧸🧸🧸🧸

My next sew will be something a little different. I’ll be making a memory bunny from a scrubs top and a plaid school skirt. Pattern pieces are cut out and ready to be sewn together. Here is my inspiration pic from the pattern I just purchased (not my creation). It’s almost identical to my memory bear pattern except it has long floppy ears. I love the large heart accent! I may have to incorporate that to all future orders.💕

Memory pillow made from a t-shirt. It’s stabilized to eliminate stretching. The graphics on the front of the shirt was very close to the neckline, so I built up the block from the top so that it would be centered. It has envelope style opening in the back so that the pillow form can be easily removed. All of the raw edges are encased to prevent fraying in the wash. I think I have a slew of memory bears to tackle next..oh n one memory bunny.💕🐰

He’s stuffed, seams are hand stitched closed in the back. All that’s left to do is to resize and sew on the collar.

Time to sew a memory bear! This sewing machine is my back up BERNINA that I take for sewing retreats…It’s purrs like a kitten. My other one was starting to act up so it’s going in for a tune up.
