Maine raised and Maine run-over! Owner and artist Allie Nasatowicz of Wicked Wildwoods found her passion for making weird wares from salvaging roadkill and letting nothing go to waste. Born and raised in the mountains of Western Maine, she’s a lifelong admirer of the beauty of the natural world, but no stranger to the natural cycle of life. Seeking out a way to use what most people would leave behind, she sources most of her dead from local roadkill, farmers, homesteaders, or hunters and trappers, giving the dead a second life as she transforms them into jewelry and décor items.
