Saturday night is gonna be one for the books. Special thanks to everyone in our little surf community that has helped put this together. The gram only allows you to tag so many people but you know who you are.
Saturday night is our first annual celebration and fundraiser for . All proceeds to benefit the GigiMac Fund. We will have tees, hats, shirts and plenty more, but most importantly is beer, beer, beeeeeeer!
This event is free with a suggested $10 donation and you will receive a commemorative Dinger cup and free beers while supplies last!
All merchandise for sale is *CASH ONLY*.
Early arrival is strongly suggested. Only a limited amount of Dinger tees and hats are available. To our friends that are reaching out to save them a tee or hat:

“We are reserving the first run of merchandise for our event patrons and want to make sure they’re stoked out for showing up. We will undoubtedly do a 2nd batch of tees and hats to sell online after the event.”

CHECK 1,2,3….IS THIS THING STILL ON???

Hello to all friends and family of F1RST.

First of all, thanks to all that have reached out and offered their condolences. We will get to answering the questions concerning the future of the company at a later time. For now, We want to focus our efforts on remembering our friend Christian who meant more to our South Beach Community than any of us had ever imagined.

Please join us at Red’s Garage and Art Gallery in Little Haiti on Saturday, December 21st, 2019 from 7:00 pm until midnight for a celebration in honor of our friend Christian Tupac De La Iglesia (a.k.a. “Dinger”) for his birthday . We will be having an art show featuring some of our favorite local artists such as Rudy DuBoé, Alejandro Andrés, Red Castéllanos, Aléjandro Rico, Jona Cerwinské, 3rdandOcéan and many, many more (We believe all artists deserve some flare over their “é”).

Also available will be a limited run of "Dream Like Dinger" tee shirts, hats and memorial cups (yes, they will be plastic, but they will be reusable), along with a complete and final liquidation sale of all remaining merchandise from F1RST SURF SUPPLY Co. Adult beverages generously provided by Veza Sur Brewing Co and a Mezcal punch provided by our friends at Bar Lab and Illegal Mezcal. A friendly $10 donation is suggested for the cup and unlimited beer.

THIS EVENT CASH ONLY and all proceeds will go to help with the Gigi Mac family fund.

The surf may have dropped but it’s prime conditions for a little paddle boarding fun. With some bait fish running close to shore these days, you get a great vantage of watching Mother Nature do her thing. Shop hours are 10-7 every day, take one of these guys out for $20. .

It’s been three years brother and not a day goes by that your not thought of, spoken about or referred to. Your legacy lives on in legends lore thru the sharing of stories and memories, there are so many. We know your still out here in the water with us, verbally pushing us into the first wave of the set...so encouraging....only to realize you were baiting us because there was a better one behind it. With the wing span of a condor, you could out paddle anyone....here’s to you always pushing us, to be better and surf more. We love and miss you, Rest In Power my friend. .

will be teaming up with our friends at and TONIGHT for some BBQ fundraising and support them as being a drop off point of hurricane relief supplies thru out the weekend for our brothers and sisters in the Bahamas. .

There will be a BBQ TONIGHT from 6p-10p with $5 choripan’s and $10 steak sandwich’s as well as $5 beers (100% of the proceeds will be donated to who is one of the great non profits helping the 🇧🇸). We plan to show a surf flick as part of our monthly movie nights we host with and what better way to watch it then eating and drinking for a good cause. Come down, support and know that for all the items being brought down, they will be matched by Urbanica and Minibar as well as a complimentary beer given for doing so. .See you tonight!

The no swim advisory has been lifted. Thanks to all the volunteers on the BWTF (Blue Water Task Force) with Surfrider Foundation Miami Chapter for all their work weekly. The team is always open to new volunteers, if you want to find out how you can help, sign up and donate some time or money to help the cause. We all don’t have to help the same way but as long as we help in some way, we advance the cause.

The Florida Department of Health has issued swimming advisories for the beaches in the vicinity of First Street, 21 Street and 73 Street.

The advisory recommends not swimming at these locations at this time. Daily samples will be taken and upon satisfactory results, the swimming advisories will be lifted and you will receive a notification.

Some small kine rideable surf on tap behind the shop in the knee high range, FINALLY!!! 🤦🏽‍♂️

Tide is filling in with a dead high at 12:07p so the outgoing could bump it up a bit before it goes dead low at 6:12p, dare we say a thigh high wave could appear? I know...it’s hard even writing any of this but hey, we have trade winds pushing thru and the ocean is waking back up again, we’ll take it!!! We got boards to rent if ya need it, swing by...
