I had other things planned to post today, but in a world where someone can be attacked simply for being perceived as Jewish—like the man in Amsterdam who was kicked while crying, ‘I’m not Jewish’—I needed to draw strength from the proud, resilient Jews who came before us. Sometimes I go about my life and forget that there are still more than 90 hostages in Gaza. Then I remember and my heart sinks and all I want to do is cry. These are real people with families who love them and miss them every day. This is why we do what we do. Bring them home now!
