Let’s play a little game of STYLE DOMINOES! 🁢💃🏼

The rules? Take ONE piece from each outfit and carry it into the next……a statement belt leads to plaid, plaid leads to black denim, black denim leads to red cashmere, red cashmere to leopard—-you get the drift…

This was a fun little exercise bc prior to shooting I had zero clue what I was going to toss on and grabbed this dress and belt and took it from there—-Just another reminder that shopping my closet gets me outta my clothing rut and into creative mode—-comment STYLE for links to these looks!

Styling the SIXTEEN dollar camo pants from Walmart nine ways—-you read that right….$16! comment SIXTEEN for links to these pants and my other items…..I’m super impressed gang—-these are 💯💯

Let’s chat fit—-I sized up to a Med bc I wanted a more relaxed fit (I mentioned on stories I feel like a relaxed fit gives a more elevated feel—similar to the Citizens I have)….BUT I’m also keeping the Small as they fit great too and depending on the vibe I may want a more fitted feel.

PS: I promise to start styling things besides camo 🥸

Leave it to shopaholic me to fall into a career that primarily focuses on……S H O P P I N G. 🛍️

The love of clothes is undoubtedly in my DNA, the moment I could drive I got a job at The Gap with the sole purpose of burning my paycheck on my employee discount 🙃 After 14 years in this business, the love of fashion ain’t going anywhere; HOWEVER, this summer it hit me quite hard, all the NEW NEW NEW, BUY THIS, YOU NEED THAT started to feel like…too much.

Too much stuff.
Too much clutter.
Too much noise.

My closet felt cluttered. My house felt cluttered. And honestly? My brain did too. So this summer I started changing the way I shop, what I keep, what I share with you guys, and surprisingly, it’s made me love my job even more than I already did.
