I haven’t posted this past week because I’ve been completely devastated.
My cousin Andy was tragically killed while out for a jog. He was a bright light — a father, a husband, a true man of God. He leaves behind his wife Michelle and their two beautiful kids, Lucas and Lili.

It’s been a lot to carry. But even in the darkest moments, I still believe God is close to the brokenhearted.

I used to think being punk rock meant going against the system. But over time, I realized the music, the culture—even the rebellion—were all part of the same machine. Rage Against the Machine? They started raging on behalf of the machine. The punk bands I admired turned out to be controlled opposition—wolves in studded leather.

The real rebels? The ones who truly stand against the system? It’s the Christians walking in truth, prayer, and boldness. The ones not conformed to this world but transformed by the renewing of their mind.

Now even much of the Christian movement has been hijacked by the world. Just like everything else. But Jesus gave us the filter: “You’ll know them by their fruits.”
