Mixed signals are only “mixed” to a new audience. A new audience is only “new” for a moment. Once people recognize that you aren’t always recognizable, their ability to predict your unpredictability will make you the strongest and most powerfully intriguing signal in the building - however mixed up it might be.

I rock boho at the pool today, Africana at the dentist’s office tomorrow.... Urban and street looks on Mondays, laser sharp pinstripes on Saturdays. ⠀

On “Doing Me” Days, which are more often than others, I mix it all together. That usually looks like plaids on button ups with animal prints and florals or camouflage cut offs... YES, at the same damn time!⠀
