💧GLAZING💧Not exactly my favorite part of the process, but an important one, nonetheless. Glazing is what makes your plates food-safe and your cups impermeable. It’s what gives your pottery a captivating finish, whether it being gloss, matte, satin, textured, and even flawed. It’s a long, slow, messy and strenuous process, but if all goes well when your glaze fire is done, embrace the satisfaction of having something fully finished. •

I’ve been described as a “very generous” teacher and I know it’s true!😄 I love teaching, I always have. To share with others the things I’m passionate about, to pass onto others a legacy of creating works in ceramics, to invite people in my space, a space I consider safe, open to all, and hopefully one day willl become a pillar of the Little Haiti/Little River community... it all gives me purpose. So don’t worry, if you’ve never worked with clay before, if you’ve always wanted to try it, I’ll be there with you, every step of the way. Beginning to end. Until you’re home, enjoying a bowl of noodles, in a ceramic piece, handmade by YOU! •
