I occasionally get the pleasure of designing and sewing some rather ornate women’s wear, and it’s always a fun change of pace- working in extreme metal and wrestling it’s mostly menswear! This outfit consists of a multi-layered velvet and tulle skirt, a velvet top with lace bell sleeves, and a leather and pvc corset with biomech-inspired quilting! This piece is headed off to make its wearer look like some sort of evil siren from a plane of Hell🔥

A week ago I got off a delayed international flight, drove home to my studio to finish and photograph this jacket, then turned around and drove back to DC to the Helloween show so that I could “KYLLIVER” this new stage jacket to Andi Deris in person🤘🏻🎃 It’s always the most fun part of my job when I get to meet my lovely clients in person and also watch the show!!

It’s Wrestlemania weekend. While I’ve been immersed in the Metal world lately, I still have many fond Mania weekend memories- mainly with Windham aka Bray Wyatt. I made all his gear from 2014-2021, and I don’t think there is anyone else that I would have chosen to share the glory with of having your work on the biggest stage of them all. We really set a trend of post apocalyptic gear in wrestling during that period. RIP Windham ⭕️🕯️ I also have lots of great memories of making mania gear for Braun Strowman, Randy Orton, Tamina, Sonya Deville and many more! I don’t miss the unhealthy sleepless nights of WWE deadlines though. I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing everyone else’s masterful creations this weekend while I’ve been in the studio recording with my band!

Had a really great night with the absolutely lovely people of HELLOWEEN and crew last night! It took me 5.5 hours of beltway traffic purgatory to get there, then the singers arrive shortly before the show so I had 30 mins to set up the machine and do alterations before stage time… did it in 20🧵🧙‍♀️!! Delivered a new silver leather stage jacket to Andi Deris and took measurements of the whole band, so will hopefully be making them more gear soon! It was also soo great to have a good hang on my home turf with Daniel Freyberg who is playing with Beast in Black!! Helloween

I made this new stage look for RIKET whose album came out today (which I will be picking up in person at their release show tonight 🤘🏻)! It’s a great example of how you can express a theme or song content visually with just a few curated pieces! The shirts I all hand-dyed and splattered with the ink of Riket’s deranged editor, and the accessories are genuine leather!

⬇️Read Caption: This year I also made a couture dress for our second annual INFERNO FASHION SHOW, hosted by the hilarious and glamorous Admira Thunderpussy! As a fashion designer who works mainly in costume and stagewear, the runway has never been my element. Here you can witness my Blue Steel/LeTigre which is awkwardly princess waving to my (very supportive) friends in the crowd 🤣! I still had a lot of fun designing a couture look that I could put together in the little amount of time that I had to make something for myself, which was 30 mins😬. Actually an impressive challenge. I applaud Inferno for recognizing and platforming the fact that whether we like it or not, fashion is a pillar of Metal and integrally linked! Many put their own personal metal style on the runway for this reason!

Inferno Music Conference and Inferno Metal Festival Norway have been a whirlwind, and I have so many things to post! Absolute highlights were seeing Enslaved premiere the new wardrobe I made them featuring bronze age carvings in hand-cut leather (more pics and video soon)! At the conference I spoke on the “HBIC” panel with absolute powerhouses in this industry, and listened to a lot of fascinating panels from my peers! I also made some stage gear for my dear friends Riket from Stockholm, Firespawn, and Mayhem- who all delivered crushing sets! I also did a speed-sewing challenge and walked a leather couture dress down the Inferno Fashion Show runway! Sunday I took the Yacht Rock Oslo Fjord cruise with my fellow delegates and Yacht Rock Rockstar bandmate, did an interview for the Iblis Manifestations podcast, and met with Old Mans Child who I will be making a new look for! It was super special this year having my fiancé Johan here with me aka DJ BADASSGAARD as well as my The Burned Over bandmate, Mark Dannells, who came to Norway for the first time! Having so many friends from all over the world in one place at one time as well as meeting new ones is actually the best thing about Inferno- thanks to Erin, Andrew, and the entire Inferno Crü for all you do! What a success! I need a liver transplant, 12 hours sleep, and a week to catch up on the outside world! Room 666 signing off🤘🏻🇳🇴
