Tarab is a style of Arab music that elicits ecstasy, rapture, and elevation into supernatural possession for the listener. Duende, in the Spanish tradition of flamenco, describes a quality of inspiration, transcendence, and embodiment. Miami-based performer Tiffany Madera collaborates with the National Arab Orchestra to create an enchanted world of Egyptian dance and music connecting folklore, history, and technology to create new immersive geographies and futures.

This Sunday Valerick is preparing a fun and energized class for you.

Workshop description:
In this workshop we are going to explore with the variety of baladi hip work and technique. We are going to have the drummer Fadi El Sabeh playing in class.

Also, students will have the opportunity to improvise with the drummer to develop their musicality skills and confidence.
