New York has always existed in the language of Gabriel Salcedo. The architecture. The interiors. The precision. The obsession with atmosphere and presence. This week, that language became physical.
Honored to collaborate with and on an environment surrounding the relaunch of the iconic SOM79 chair originally commissioned for Halston’s headquarters in the 1970s. A project rooted in American modernism, architecture, sound, fashion, and the kind of worlds that shaped me long before I ever started the brand.
As someone now building Gabriel Salcedo from New York, this moment feels deeply personal.
