Horror movies always assume ghosts are up to no good but what if they just really want a slice? I mean, Santa comes barging down your chimney spraying soot and ashes everywhere, tromps through the house in his muddy boots, drops cookie crumbs everywhere, watches you while you sleep like a creep, and yet everyone loves that guy. Meanwhile my boy Casper floats ✨politely✨ through the wall without damaging anything and silently waits for someone to offer his poor non-corporeal self a slice, and everyone freaks out and wants to burn the house down. Just saying, man. Seems inconsistent.

💀 My head is clearly too big for my body. Thankfully I grew into it.

HELLO IT IS THE WEEKEND AND I AM ONCE AGAIN EATING PIZZA ON A STRANGER’S LAWN NEXT TO AN ABSURDLY LARGE SKELETON!

Shout out to the beaut of a skelly in Bowling Green, OH for being the first giant skelly I’ve seen on my travels that is actively growing a vining plant! This was an absolute whirlwind weekend for me as I brought 3 of the soccer teams I coach down to Ohio for the Bowling Green Fall Challenge tourney. I coached a total of 12 games in a 36 hour span in blistering heat (Saturday) and rain (Sunday). My squads were absolutely on fire this weekend, combining to go 11-1 with two teams taking gold and one team taking silver.

The fine folks of Bowling Green provided me with ample skelly suggestions and pizza opinions, but I was so extremely exhausted when I got to my car tonight that I took the easy route and scooped up a Hot N Ready from Little Caesars (cue the booing and accusations that I’ve sold out and become a corporate shill). I’m sorry BG residents, don’t hate me. I’ll be back this way later this fall and I’ll be sure to atone for my actions by sampling multiple BG pizza locations.

Overall it was a 10/10 banger weekend. Thank you so much to my Warriors SC family for helping me navigate the hectic schedule and always being willing to share the load. You guys rule and I am blessed to have y’all in my life.

It’s almost football season, and you know what that means:

🎥 Announcers reminding us 57 million times “there must be INDISPUTABLE video evidence to overturn the call on the field.”

🏈 Endless arguments about whether a receiver “completed the process of the catch,” ultimately ending in the call going against your team every single time.

💀 Referees awkwardly fiddling with their microphones and addressing the crowd with all the confidence of a middle schooler in Public Speaking class.

🍕 Inevitably, wading through convoluted minutia will finally cause a ref to snap, turn on his mic, and announce:

“UPON FURTHER REVIEW... I NEED PIZZA.”
