The New Guard is officially taking over RVA.

High school running isn’t just about the miles you clock—it’s about the legacy you leave behind. This is your final warning: there are only a few days left to apply for PR NEXT GEN.
We are completely reimagining what it means to be a student-athlete ambassador. This isn’t a discount code or a social media badge. This is a one-year elite fellowship for the rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors who want to stop just participating in the culture and start running it.

Back-to-back!

This past Saturday, the =PR= Run Club took over the Vantage Aviation Runway 5k, and we are incredibly proud to have SUCCESSFULLY DEFENDED THE TEAM TITLE! But if you know what this club is about, you know this award is about so much more than just going fast. Speed is great, but culture is what wins. This title belongs to every single person who laced up, stood on that starting line, and gave everything they had for the person running next to them. Beyond the racing, we love supporting this event because it directly helps fund the amazing work that does for the youth in our community.

That true community isn’t built in isolation—it’s forged when we show up for each other, match each other’s stride, and collectively commit to bringing out the absolute best version of ourselves on any given day. When one of us digs deep, it lifts the entire group. That is the soul of the RVA running community.

Whether you were turning over a new PR on the tarmac or screaming your lungs out from the cheering sections, you are the reason we keep moving forward.

Riverrock weekend was an absolute jam! A massive thank you to everyone who stopped by the =PR= Run & Walk x booth.

Being set up right on Tredegar Street was incredible. It wasn’t just a major thoroughfare for the festival crowd, but a true crossroads for the runners and cyclists who make up the heartbeat of RVA. The testimonials we received all weekend—whether you were there specifically for the event or just happened to be passing through on a long ride or run—were insane.

We also have to say, SHOKZ has the most vocal, passionate group of ambassadors I’ve ever experienced. To everyone who stopped by to learn, test out the open-ear tech, or just say hello: we heard you loud and clear!

A special shoutout and huge kudos to the team at . Without question, they are the absolute engine behind RVA’s outdoor scene. They hustled non-stop around the clock to make sure everything ran smoothly and that everyone walked away with a memorable experience. Mad respect to all of you for your incredible ex*****on and dedication to our community.

To top a great weekend off, it was a blast getting out there ourselves to take part in the Trail Takedown.

The Summer Solstice is coming, and in the 804, we don’t just mark the day—we outwork the sun.

Introducing the Solstice 21 - PR Movement Challenge.

From June 1st to June 21st, we are virtually trekking from the grit of Belle Isle to the front door of the shop. We’ve evolved the old 2mph challenge into something bigger. This year, we’ve widened the path so the entire community can move together. Whether you’re a veteran grinder or taking your first steps, there is a place for you in the crew.

Choose Your Path:

The Movement Streak: 21 days of consistency. Log at least 1 mile of movement every single day. It’s about the discipline of showing up and protecting the streak.

The Solstice Chaser: The distance challenge. For those seeking the miles, the leaderboard is open. No daily minimum—just pure volume to see who can hunt down the most miles by the 21st.

The Mission:

Registration is 100% FREE. But the work has a purpose. We are raising funds for our July =PR= Youth Running Camp to keep it free for every kid in our community. Pick up the limited-edition Brooks Podium technical finisher shirt for $25 during registration—100% of the proceeds fund the camp.

The Finale:
We finish the streak where the community gathers. Join us on Father’s Day, June 21st, at the shop for the finale celebration, shirt pickups, and our milestone buttons.

It was a massive weekend out at Innsbrook for the East Coast Triathlon Festival, and the energy was exactly what makes the RVA endurance community so special. From the Junior Elite to the adult sprint, seeing athletes transition from the water to the bike and then really open it up on the pavement is what it’s all about.

We were proud to be on-site as the official sponsor of the Fastest Run Split award for every single event. There is nothing like watching that “third leg” grit when the legs are heavy but the finish line is in sight.

Whether you were a youth athlete taking on your first multi-sport race or a veteran chasing a new benchmark, we loved being part of your support crew. Huge shoutout to everyone who left it all out there—the speed on display this year was next level.

Congrats to all the split winners! We’ll see you back on the roads.

For the next three days, we are turning the shop into track central. We will be streaming the Penn Relays live (huge shoutout to FloTrack!) right here in the store. If you’ve never experienced the Relays, you won’t want to miss this.

𝐀 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐇𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧
Starting way back in 1895 (yes, that long ago), the Penn Relays is the oldest and largest track and field competition in the United States. Thousands of high school, college, and professional athletes flock to Philadelphia every April to race on that iconic track. If you’re a track fan, this is one of the pillars of the sport.

We will be tuned in and cheering hard for all our hometown RVA and regional Virginia athletes competing up in Philly this week. Come on by, talk some racing, and maybe check out some new gear for your own season.
