Arthur’s Pet Pantry helps local families who are struggling to afford food and supplies for their pets. Their program provides supplemental help so people can keep caring for the animals they love and, hopefully, avoid having to give them up because of a temporary financial hardship.
They hold pet food distributions every month, so our collection at The Tack Room is ongoing. We are always happy to accept donations of dog and cat food, canned food, cat litter, and monetary donations for Arthur’s Pet Pantry.
This month, they need **360 cans of dog food** for their distributions.
A big thank you to **Brookpark Pet Supply**, which has already donated **120 cans!** ❤️🐾
That leaves **240 cans still needed**, including for the distribution beginning this Wednesday.
Each family receives 4 cans, so every 4 cans donated helps provide supplemental food for one local family and their dog.
If you’re able to pick up a few extra cans while you’re shopping, please drop them off at The Tack Room. And remember — this is an ongoing collection, so donations are welcome all year long.
