𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙇𝘼𝙎𝙏 𝘿𝙀𝙇𝘼𝙒𝘼𝙍𝙀 𝘿𝙍𝙀𝙎𝙎𝙀𝙍. 🎨

For a customer who has been with Salvaged for years and followed us to The Collective... and has me working with a color that ironically I have NEVER used in 14+ years of painting furniture! 🤣

Feels like a weird • fitting • full-circle moment.

This isn't the warehouse we spent the majority of our time in, but it's still sentimental. These hands have painted thousands of pieces throughout the years.

𝘔𝘺 𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘱𝘢𝘭 𝘵𝘶𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘭 𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘧. 😅

I got here super early to hopefully beat the heat. One thing I WILL • NOT • MISS is the unbearable humidity! 🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠

Truck is being packed. Cars are being picked up for transport. The roadtrip sedatives have been secured for the dogs 🤪

It's about that time. 🌵🌴☀️

𝙁 𝘼 𝙍 𝙀 𝙒 𝙀 𝙇 𝙇 to another piece of our history! 👋😢

This staging wall has r o c k e d with us for a solid 10+ years at this point.

The boys built it for me back in the day so that we could have a statement wall to display our favorite furniture on and greet customers when they walked in. 🤩

It started out as g r e y 🩶 and then we eventually painted it all w h i t e 🤍 for a nice clean backdrop so the furniture would really P O P!

SHE WAS LARGE & IN-CHARGE and definitely not making the roadtrip to AZ with us 😅🤣

SO, she's going to be loved by another local family and used during pop up markets at Joyfully Vintage Shop 🛍✨️ Give them a follow and say hello to our iconic wall for us when you visit! 😀

Well, not technically… BUT SOON! 😅

Ashlee has been in A R I Z O N A for going on two weeks now & is getting herself acquainted with her new surroundings! 🌵☀️

Richard and I will be making our final trip out there vvveerryyy soon. 🥰 BUT IN THE MEAN TIME…

🏡 𝙒𝙀 𝘽𝙊𝙐𝙂𝙃𝙏 𝙏𝙒𝙊 𝙃𝙊𝙈𝙀𝙎 𝙄𝙉 𝙎𝘾𝙊𝙏𝙏𝙎𝘿𝘼𝙇𝙀! 🏡

I promised Richard that we would move out there and live normal people lives. Have normal jobs. Work normal hours. Do normal people things.

🤣🤣 It’s not that I’m a liar. I am just a glutton for punishment. I have no idea what “normal” is anymore. I lost my ability to keep things nice and easy MANY years ago. LOL

SO. Here we are. In Delaware. Owning not one, but TWO, homes in Scottsdale that will kick off our entry into the Arizona real estate market!

✨ 𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗘 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 & 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗔𝗣 ✨

Our girl [& crew] made it to AZ! 🌵☀️🌴

Not without struggle. Not without plane delays. Not without blowing out not one… but TWO tires on the u-haul. Not without running into storms & tornadoes while driving cross country. Not without losing any bit of sanity that may have been left. 😅

… BUT THEY OFFICIALLY MADE IT! 👌🏻

School has started for the kids. Travor is back in DE finishing up his work. Mommom T is around for the week helping Ashlee get situated this first week.

And then she’s on her own until we [Richard • myself • and the dogs] make our final venture out here in a few short weeks! 🚚 We flew in for a couple days to secure our place to live and now we’re headed back to DE to pack our belongings and say our goodbyes! 👋
