In my last post, I told the story of my conversations with Taruk, a shop owner at the Grand Bazaar. We discussed the adverse effects of synthetic clothing on human health which he then, unknowingly, relayed to none other than the head of Gore-Tex (!) who happened to visit his shop later that day. Talk about synchronicity.

This is Taruk, who agreed to record his very first video with me. I wanted to feature him, his goodwill to all of us, and his great energy.

Taruk also shared some wisdom when he reminded me of the power of our minds -- not to get overwhelmed, anxious, fearful, or depressed as we learn about what wearing synthetic clothing is doing to our health. Those feelings alone can affect our immune system, how we navigate our days, and how we interact with other people. Keep a positive attitude, make the changes in our lives that we have the power to make, and be kind to those around us.

I hope you enjoy meeting Taruk as much as I did.
