An entire neighborhood of Doll Houses are looking for a new imaginations to fill their rooms! Collectors won’t want to miss out on this opportunity. A variety of Doll Houses from a local collection is now available for purchase at Stitch In Time Antique and Gift Mall.

Loved deeply by their previous owner, these Doll Houses are ready to be customized. The styles incude a mid-century two-story solid wood and electrified Craftsmanan, complete with two doorbells. A quaint wooden cottage. And, a hard-to-find renovated 1995 Barbie Victorian Mansion.

Already have a house and need accessories and furniture? We have hundreds of miniatures available as well. Saturday, 3/22, is the annual Spring Fling open house at Stitch in Time, and there are many sales throughout the building this weekend.

I recently acquired this relatively rare and certainly difficult to find intact "Alphyddan" iconically mid-century dollhouse made by Brio in 1966. The kitchen appliances were added (by Tomy, early 80s) but the rest appears to be original to the house. The scale is 1:16, similar to Lundby dollhouses.

Though the Swedish toy company Brio is most well known for wooden train sets, during the 1960s They manufactured dollhouses and dollhouse furniture. The furniture comprises of miniature replicas of pieces by Danish designer Arne Jacobsen. Pieces include the 'egg' chair, the 'series 7' chair, and the 'swan' couch.

A sampling of some beautifully preserved vintage Children’s clothing from the late 50’s and early 60’s. It’s not unusual to come across a box of older clothing, but, to find it in immaculate condition with some still in original packaging and tags, definitely is. Not even the best 50’s housewife could keep those duds completely stain and tear free. It’s typical to see lots of mends, and even if it survived the wear and tear of children, many times bugs and moisture get to it in storage. These items will be available for purchase at our Stitch In Time Antique and Gift Mall location later this week!
