Hi followers!

I have some new customers lately, so I thought I’d share a little bit about myself.

My name is Cari (Hence “clay by Cari” 😉). I’m a 28-year-old first grade teacher and mom of an almost 10 month old.

A little over a year ago, after finding out I was expecting a baby, I needed a way to make some extra money. I knew that I couldn’t afford to stay home for long with my baby, but I also knew it would kill me to go back to work when he was still so little (6 weeks of maternity leave is a SCAM). I saw some videos of people making clay earrings, and somehow convinced my husband to let me buy some materials and try. I thought if I could just make $1,000, it would help me be able to stay home with my baby until he was 3 months old. I stayed up extra late so many nights making earring after earring, getting better and better with my work. Fast forward a year later, and I’ve been so blessed by all your support that I’ve been able to continue making earrings to support my family alongside my full time teaching job.

You might see 5 pairs of earrings being sold, but I see enough money to buy my sweet baby a can of formula. Thank you all so much for your purchases over the year! 🥰 I can’t wait to share the holiday earrings that will come out soooo soon!
