Chai in Jaipur, chai in Pittsburgh. ☕🧡

On my trip, my guide Umar Beyond Jaipur | Umar and I stopped at a chaiwala and sat among the locals. No rush, just a warm cup and a slow day. It was one of my favorite moments of the whole trip.

This weekend I made chai for the kids, and with our mornings getting chilly, it felt like a little piece of that day came home with me.

Etta is learning Mandarin in school, and she just learned 不冷不热 (bù lěng bù rè), “not cold, not hot.” Listen for it at the end of the video.

Back in the swing of things. 🍂

Since I got back from India, our neighborhood has been torn up by road construction (and gas prices are wild), so Poker and I have been walking to and from the studio. It turns out to be my favorite part of the day: a little grounding time on the way in, and a chance to reset before I get home.

The temperatures are dropping and we’re here for it!

Our Anoushka Dusters are an extra long version of our Jackets. We don’t make too many of these because they require two coordinating kanthas. Catch them while you can! They are extra cozy, have infinitely deep pockets and double as a robe. Just sayin’ you could be lounging anywhere you where this jacket. 🧥
