Father's Day gift idea. 🎁

Like many vintage items this works a little differently than things do today. To turn this MCM desk lamp on, you just press the switch down and hold it for a few seconds for the bulbs to warm up, then release. Ta-Da, let there be light!

This vintage handmade quilted baby blanket is a charming piece of nursery bedding. The front features a pink cotton-blend frame with 12 white cotton panels, and the back is a soft, white cotton flannel. Each panel is embroidered with a baby animal scene, and each two vertically adjacent panels show that animal in a cute before and after scene that teaches safety as cause and effect.

For example, see the bunny with a hammer and nail? Oh no! The bunny hit his thumb! There are five more lessons; see if you can figure them out.

The blanket measures 31” x 42” and is suitable for a crib or toddler bed, or for hanging on a wall. It is in excellent, well cared for condition with no rips or stains. Exact age unknown but it came from an estate sale home loaded with 1950s and 1960s MCM items. Link in bio.

Sold—Antique Charcoal or Coal Sad Iron.

A vintage, mid-century folk art print of the Last Supper has glitter highlights on the robes of Jesus and the disciples and is mounted under glass in a hand-carved wood frame. Gifted to “Grandma & Pa” in 1955. These devotional art pictures that were produced in Mexico were very popular in the middle of the 20th century. Measurements:
21.5” long x 17.25” high x 0.75” deep.

Three Lily Pad Design Garden Art Panels. Rusty crusty in all its glory. Metal with a rusted surface (intentionally). Originally marketed as outdoor garden art but could be hung indoors. Each panel measures 30” x 12” and weighs about 3.25 lbs. Condition is good with some light scratches and variations in surface oxidation.

This vintage, mid-century folk art print of the Last Supper has glitter highlights on the robes of Jesus and the disciples and is mounted under glass in a hand-carved wood frame. Gifted to “Grandma & Pa” in 1955.

These devotional art pictures that were produced in Mexico were very popular in the middle of the 20th century.
