Respected Milwaukee artist Pamela Anderson, is the Director of Material. Located in the Marshall Building in downtown Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward. The artists and organizations that comprise Material Studios + Gallery are listed below. Mission Statement: Material Studios + Gallery is a space for artists to create, produce, and develop their entrepreneurial practice. We offer the community an

intimate look into the process of creating, the opportunity to develop a relationship with the artists, along with contributing to their success. Material also houses arts organizations that fuel the health and well being of the local economy. Beki Borman was awarded 2nd place this evening at the opening of the Plymouth Art Center's "Alive in the Arts" show, and although she couldn't make it, there's always a Materialite or 3 around to celebrate! It is a great show where you can catch some great works by fellow Maureen M Kane and Susan Fiebig along with lots of other fabulous art and artists. Catch it before August 7th, 2026.

Pieces of pieces. There are so many positives you get by slowing down and really observing ART. In a fast world of scanning and skimming over the visual overload that constantly assaults....close observation of a work of art can connect us to the subject, to the artist humanity and to our own mindfulness.
We're open Friday and Saturday 1pm-5pm and we welcome you to come and take your time with the large variety of works on display. ART IS MATERIAL!
