Proudly made and manufactured in the USA!

Recently, I've had a lot of inquiries about where my playhouses, toys and teepees are made, and where I source my materials. This is the kind of question I get periodically, from people who are committed to buying toys made in the USA, but I have been getting this question quite a lot more in the past week or two. I understand everyone's concerns. I want to assure everyone who shops with me that ALL of my items are cut and sewn in my small Wisconsin sewing studio with exceptional attention to quality, safety, and design, using 100% cotton home decor or canvas fabric that is manufactured in the USA. My canvas teepees are made with 100% cotton that is grown and milled into canvas in the USA. Even my awesome colored canvas teepees! The home decor fabrics (stripes, polka dots, patterns, etc.) are purchased from an environmentally friendly US fabric manufacturer that uses a water based pigment printing system. Poles are ONE PIECE, very important for safe, uninterrupted play. Unlike most other teepee sellers, we cut our own teepee poles from wood that is sourced in Wisconsin. We do not purchase our poles from overseas. Even the felt I use is manufactured in the USA! This is something I am proud of and work to sustain.

EVERY item I sell passes through my hands. I have two seamstresses (actually, one seamstress, Jenni, and one "seamster", my exceptional friend, Warren) who help me make my teepees, playhouses and toys. They work exclusively in my studio, which is located in my home. Every single item we make passes through my hands for my inspection. If I haven't sewn it myself, I have cut it out or folded it, or ironed it and I have DEFINITELY packed it. I want to make sure that every item I sell is a quality toy that will be loved and remembered for many years to come, and passed down to future generations!

I appreciate all of my customers so much. Your support has helped me build my micro business into a not-so-micro business, and to work in my home during the years my children have been in school. This is an amazing gift, and I am so very grateful.

If you have been wondering what is keeping me so very busy these days, it’s my Safety Town houses! These lightweight houses fit over easily assembled PVC frames and they have gotten REALLY popular over the years! If you aren’t familiar with Safety Town, it’s a program that teaches young children pedestrian and traffic safety through hands on activities in a simulated, small scale city with streets, homes and sidewalks. It’s been my honor to work with communities across the country for the past five or six years, providing a wide variety of themed houses for their Safety Town Programs.
