John Tarnese, shaman in Lander, WY of the Shoshone nation, Bear tribe and Yellow hand clan, who passed a few years ago is on my mind. Small in stature, John could scare the wits out of anyone who doubted him as he was a tremendous healer performing rituals centuries old. I'm trying to find his wife Virgene to see how she is; and for her permission to paint a picture of John in my style. If anyone knows of her whereabouts, maybe Denver, please let me know. I want this
piece to be powerful as was John.
