Over a year ago, my neighbor, Rachel from let me know that someone was cleaning out the abandoned building across the street from her business.

Immediately I said, “Rachel, I do not need a commercial building!” and those are my famous last words.

Through a crazy turn of events, in about six months of working the deal, I closed on this building in spring 2025. Then the question became what would I do with it?

We didn’t need another coffee shop. I didn’t really want to open a home decor boutique. I have zero restaurant experience. But I knew I wanted to do something on brand with my brand which involves reclaiming and restoring both historic properties and lives.

And the idea for was born! I would create a unique and premier shopping destination for the best vintage and reloved clothing, books, records, plants and home decor. It would be the second biggest risk I’ve taken to date (second behind my abandoned apartments turned into The Villas at Spanish Court).

Would anybody even come? I didn’t even do a market analysis to see if the store would work. I just acted upon a vision in my heart and then I watched the Lord order my steps to bring this project to fruition.

And after being open for nearly a year in the fall, people have come from all over to source some of the rarest and most unique vintage pieces.

Fresh on the floor at Purvéy Minden: a handmade 1960s–1970s vintage dress in excellent condition, complete with front pockets (because every great dress deserves pockets!).

There’s no size tag, but we estimate it fits like a small and possibly a medium. The floral print, easy silhouette, and timeless charm make it the perfect piece for summer outings, vintage markets, brunch dates, or simply adding a little retro style to your wardrobe. This one is $40. First come!

The craziest part? This is just one of MANY vintage dresses we’ve recently added to the floor. Several have already found their forever homes, and the rest won’t be far behind. This handmade vintage dress from the 1960s–1970s just hit the floor at Purvéy Minden, and we are completely smitten. The bright green gingham print, oversized collar, and classic silhouette make it the perfect summer vintage find. ☀️

There’s no size tag, but it fits like a modern medium and is priced at just $45. If history has taught us anything, it’s that pieces this cute never stick around for long!
