This beautiful vintage handmade girls’ dress is officially on the floor at Purvéy Minden! With its charming fall print, delicate lace trim, smocked waist, and full twirly skirt, it looks like it stepped right out of a storybook.

There’s no size tag, but we estimate it to be about a girls’ size 7, and it is priced at only $22. Since it is a one-of-a-kind vintage find, once it’s gone, it’s gone!

Resharing how I gave a historic 1931/32 building in downtown Minden, Louisiana a new lease on life as a charming vintage and reloved clothing store!

The exterior renovation was a relatively smooth process. The building just needed a fresh new look to showcase its original charm!

FULL DISCLAIMER: inventory turns over very quickly! We restock on a daily basis and our most rare, vintage pieces go the fastest. So it’s super important that you stop in frequently for the best selection.

Here’s what we strive to accomplish:
✅ themed, collection drops weekly
✅ seasonal staples and work wear
✅ XS-5X women and men’s clothing
✅ boys’ and girls’ clothing
✅ shoes
✅ true vintage pieces (25+ years or older) plus some gently reloved modern finds that we think are adorable.

Purvéy sources clothing from anywhere and everywhere we can. We also go the extra mile to wash, iron, or steam our clothing unless it is a super sensitive fabric. You would never guess that you were walking into a “used clothing store” once you step inside!

Purvéy is open seven days a week at 726 Broadway in Minden, Louisiana and we would be honored if you stopped in our shop!

”Where do you source the clothes for your vintage clothing shop Purvéy Minden ?” …. Is one of the most common questions I get almost on a daily basis.

Resharing the truth on how I source all of my vintage and reloved clothes. And it’s anywhere and everywhere I can. I got a lead on a home that was a hoarding situation. And before everything could be hauled off to the landfill, I got in there to comb through and see what vintage clothing I could find.

I bought a rundown, vacant building in historic downtown Minden, Louisiana and turned it into the cutest little vintage clothing shop.

Built around 1932, the old Turner building, sitting empty and a little forgotten, is now Purvéy Minden … a space filled with vintage clothing, reloved pieces, records, books, home decor, and the kind of treasures you only find when you slow down and wander.

If you’ve followed the renovation online, you really need to come see it in person. The building itself is part of the experience, and the racks are full of one of a kind vintage and reloved clothing that change almost daily.

Every time someone walks through the door and says “this place is so cute,” it reminds me exactly why saving old buildings matters.❤️❤️

We’ve told y’all that our workwear collection is on the floor but what we haven’t told you is that we have the most adorable infant Schmidt workwear coat! 😍

This tiny brown workwear jacket is in excellent condition and priced at only $18. It’s the perfect fall coat for your littlest country boy, and we expect it to move quickly!
