This is hard to share, but it’s part of my story.

Last June, my grandson came into this world far too early, a micro-preemie who fought for 22 precious days before going home to Jesus. Those were some of the most heartbreaking days of my life. I cried out to God, begged, bargained, and prayed with everything in me. And while His will wasn’t mine, His comfort never left.

Through that pain, I felt Him calling me to work for Him. To use what little talent I have to help others. I created MBM Studios to go beyond clothing and make it a way to do just that. A portion of every order now goes toward helping NICU families—sending flowers, notes, or little tokens of love to remind them they are not forgotten.

Have you ever stopped and thought about what it really means to be alive? I mean, not just breathing in and out, but truly living—being human in the way God designed us to be.

Genesis says God breathed life into us. That blows my mind every time I read it. The very breath in your lungs right now… it started with Him. You’re not just cells and skin. You’re a walking, talking miracle because you carry His spark inside you.

And here’s the thing—we all do. The person who cut you off in traffic? The one who hurt you? The one you love most in the world? Each one of us carries that same spark of God’s breath, whether we recognize it or not.

It changes things when you think about it that way. Life feels a little more sacred. People feel a little more precious. And maybe, just maybe, we learn to love each other the way He loves us… because that same breath that fills me, fills you too.
