hello! it’s been a while…i have been taking a little bit of a break from creating content and new products as life is very busy and running a business in addition to having a full time job is tricky to juggle! alas, instead i’ve been trying to dabble in creating art simply for the enjoyment of doing so rather than just for business.
i always love having little cozy ambiances on the tv when i’m working on things and i’ve been super into ones that feature london in the winter recently. so naturally, 101 dalmatians has also been my go to comfort watch!
obviously telephone booths play a huge part in making london so chic, so i had this super fun idea of having an uber fabulous dalmatian talking on the phone next to a booth that resembled a fire hydrant…i worked on this piece in small chunks over the course of several weeks, adding more and more cityscape and holiday details each time. while it may not be a masterpiece, i’m so proud with how it all came together and for giving myself grace and time to simply enjoy the process of creating just for fun☺️ if you happened upon this on your feed, i hope it also brought you some peace and holiday spirit🎄
