We are starting to get excited for Chicago Steampunk Exposition!

One of our shows for this year ended up getting canceled, so we’re hoping to fill the gap with a couple of new events.
If anyone has recommendations for good shows in or near Minnesota, or around our kiddo’s home base in Michigan, we’d love to hear them.

Looking for options that are reasonably close to either spot so travel doesn’t get too wild.
Thanks in advance for any ideas — always fun discovering new events and communities.

🕰️✨ Ever wonder how Looking Glass Garments got its name?

For years, my husband and I have been part of a whimsical, steampunk-inspired Alice in Wonderland group. He plays the March Hare, and I’m the White Rabbit—always rushing off to the next adventure with a bustle in tow! 🐇🎩

Our love for this world runs deep, and we make sure to carry at least one Alice bustle with us wherever we go. It’s a nod to the magic, the mischief, and the timeless charm of Wonderland.

So when we heard that next year’s Chicago Steampunk Exposition theme is—drumroll please—Alice in Wonderland… we couldn’t be more thrilled! 💙

Here’s a peek at the beginning of our Alice bustle collection for the show. Each one is a tribute to the story, the characters, and the creativity that inspired our name.
