“So back in 2014, we were once know as BDV - Black Dahlia Vixen.. yeah, not the greatest acronym in retrospect. I was 23, so let’s not dwell on it too much. Then, in 2016, we did a little rebrand dance with “Abrazi.” Which.. let’s just say, was not an improvement lol!

Finally, in 2017 we officially because LEXURÌE. It’s not just a name; it’s a fusion of “Lex” from our founders first name and a playful nod to luxury. Simple, sleek, and as unique as they come.

So here’s to growth, the awkward acronyms, and finding a name that truly resonates.” -

Whether we realize it or not, what we wear can have a HUGE impact on our mental state. From boosting self esteem to reducing anxiety fashion is a form of therapy that has the power to how we feel inside and out. ⠀

Creating this upcoming collection demanded deep contemplation and unwavering commitment. For the first time, I broke away from designing based solely on personal preferences or conforming to societal notions of “trendiness.” Now, don’t get me wrong—I certainly kept a keen eye on trends, forecasts, and the like. However, I also took a moment to truly understand my market, my community.⠀

The most challenging realization was acknowledging that my brand isn’t meant for everyone. What I create may not resonate with everyone, and being at peace with that truth was the toughest pill to swallow. Yet, it’s precisely what this season demanded of me—embracing the authenticity of my brand.⠀

To those reading this, my sincere advice is not only to absorb the lesson but to actively apply the wisdom gained. Embrace the uniqueness of your brand, trust your instincts, and understand that the true beauty lies in authenticity.
