It’s a lovely rainy day here in Minneapolis and we’re finding room for comforts. Part of our mission is creating a space for learning about our cultural history. To that end, our book selection is very intentionally full of Nordic authors, history and subjects. Those stories and voices help inform and inspire our current time, and we’re grateful to share them with you! As a fourth generation family business- Father’s Day always feels a little extra special to us. Our fathers were such a huge part of building the place where we spend each day. While they are now gone, the roots that they planted here on East Lake Street are so deep.
Needless to say, we take our role seriously here as a place to find something special for the dads in your life! Father’s Day is coming up this Sunday so whether it’s a special snack, a crafting tool, a game to share, or a book to enjoy, we have you covered.
