Last night meant more than we expected.

Jamie went into her second model call a little nervous. Sharing your work, especially something you’ve poured yourself into, isn’t easy. It’s vulnerable.

But what showed up in that room changed everything.

The energy. The support. The presence of a community that truly saw her.

We were especially grateful to be represented by the LGBTQ+ community, showing up, and standing with us. That kind of support doesn’t get taken lightly.

Jamie has been working hard on these designs. And to finally bring them into the world, and feel held in that moment, meant everything.

Thank you to everyone who came, showed up, and believed in what we’re building with Jay Victoria.

This is just the beginning.

Behind every runway show is a lot of learning, doubt, and late nights.

Some people think a runway show means everything is polished and perfect.

Right now Jamie is making pieces for our show in May, and a lot of what she’s doing she’s learning for the first time.

Sometimes things don’t work.
Sometimes it’s frustrating.
Sometimes you wonder if you’re good enough.

But that’s also how something real gets built.

Jay Victoria started from a simple belief: people are already enough as they are. Our job is just to create clothing that helps them walk into the world with a little more quiet confidence.

So Jamie keeps sewing.
We keep learning.
And step by step, the collection is coming to life.

Meet Jessica, a creative & hair stylist! 💇🏻‍♀️ We met years ago when we both worked at Target. She was the visual merchandiser and I worked in men’s clothing.

Immediately, I knew she had an eye for design and aesthetic. The other Target colleagues said so too.

We kept in touch.

Recently, Jessica pursued her dream of styling hair. Here we are, many years later, now working together. ❤️
