Written by Hally, so by reading, engaging with, and sharing hope&plum's words on both, you amplified a Black voice. And with the Black Babywearing Week post, many of you did that without even knowing, because you didn't yet know who was behind the words.

As hope&plum's Director of Marketing Performance, a social justice advocate, and an avid babywearer, these conversations are important to me. Letting non-Black voices speak on this was never a consideration, and my team would never allow it.
Babywearing is not a trend... it is a tradition with thousands of years of roots across Africa, carried across an ocean, and held onto through generations.
This Juneteenth, we honor that lineage, and the Black families who kept the practice alive even when the world tried to erase them from it.
