Need a little wardrobe update? I bought this anthropologie dress(on left) a few 3-4 years ago and it had terrible reviews. But I loved the fabric and thought "what do reviewers know?" Sooooo, it was the worst fit. I even brought it to a seamstress and it was still uncomfortable. (Why return it when you can keep spending money)? So it was in the giveaway pile this spring when I decided to cut off the extremely uncomfortable top and make it into a skirt. And here we are ( on right). And the top is perfect for regifting so it's a win win. So thanks anthropologie. I hate you.

A sweet tea was had for Mother's Day. I have such wonderful children. How are they in their 30's when I still think I'm in my 30's? This thing called life is so complicated.

Spring in Stillwater is heaven. But it's still a little cold to plant. But the horses. They really took off from those little seedlings.

I had a fantastic time looking for the perfect English house for a project. Who knew in this Lumber Barron town we'd have so many Brits with their elegant country style. And we had horses in common! Of course.

I have wrinkles. And my next birthday I'll be 65. It's crazy how fast time goes, exactly what my grandmother told me. Now I'm the grandmother, telling my children to enjoy every minute because it's true. Time really does fly by. Watching my children become incredible grown-up humans, now in their 30's, having their own families is extraordinary. And the little things don't matter. Spend the time doing puzzles with a 4 year old. Pretend the floor is lava. Learn new hobbies. Be inappropriate. Make forts. Root beer floats.
