Spotted a few people doing cosplay reviews from last year and ended up going down a Rabbit hole of all the personal and cosplay commissions Elle and I have created over the years. So here's a few, in no particular order.

The latest commission. A Fenrisisn Auxilia from the Horus Heresy.

One of the things I love about cosplay, is that each project had its own set of unique quirks that need creative problem solving and this one had a few interesting ones. From the ring seals on the arms and legs, creating a resin/ foam hybrid for the ammo feed to figuring out a simple way to stop the gauntlets from collapsing on themselves. I enjoyed the process of trial and error, consulting with creative friends and just sitting thinking. The client and I had long discussions about lore and the look he wanted. I think we came up with the right mix of Imperial STC production and Fenrisian Artisan craftsmanship. The only thing left is the addition of fetishes and clan tokens.

Apologies for being so quiet since we relocated. It's been.... interesting.

So here's a brief update. Medically I'm much better and I am officially allowed to hold sharp things again. Platelets are still below normal values but out of the dangerous zone. Yay not bleeding to death. I'm still dealing with fatigue and immune issues but those are also improved.

That being said I'm back to work, even though it's at a slower pace. Just finished a Heresy Era 40K cosplay commission. A Fenrisian Auxilia, there's a reel with a short vid posted.

Next is a Sister of Silence then a project in very excited about.... I'm going to start posting regularly again. I'll start with WIP pics of the Auxilia.

After several long months of medical treatments and close calls, a move across country, new jobs, and big changes, we are delighted to get back into cosplay as part of the largest Warhammer 40,000 Narrative gaming event in the world – and the only one where the outcome becomes official lore. Thanks to for allowing us to serve as the Lords of War and helping to craft a memorable experience for the hundreds of players.
