Celina Kane is HAT MAKE - A brand of couture hats that is equal parts minimalist and surrealist, geometric and whimsical. The hats are composed of a variety of de luxe materials including 100% angora rabbit fur felt, silk, velvet, fox fur from Northern Minnesota, wool, straws, and high quality trims. I make each one entirely by hand, starting on hand scuplted hat blocks and finished in my Minneapo

lis studio. Hats are about fantasy and mystery and romance– a big floppy brim makes each glance from beneath seem like a brief romance with the outside world, or a flirtatious fascinator breaks the ice at any party and lets you become someone else.

This past March marked my 10 year business anniversary since I launched Hatmake. That passage of time has been marked by 20 collections large and small, over a thousand pieces sold, and countless collaborations, friendships and experiences that I would never have had without this practice. Happy Halloween ghouls and goblins! 🔮 October is my favorite month and this year was one for the record books.

Starting off with bang at my birthday spooktacular ft. “The Phantom of the Paradise” and my dearest friends. 🪩

Then I channeled my best Madame Blavatsky reading her “Chris-tal Ball” at ’s annual ghouly gala ft. some of the best costumes I’ve ever seen. 🔪

And as luck would have it landed in the most charming festival in St. Louis. 🎃

Now just 5 days til election, 1 week til Art Attack and one month til we get married?! Life is busy and full and kind of blowing my mind right now. Have a warm and happy Halloween! Xo C 👻
