UGH. Its so frustrating when you see the followers go up, but no sales to match it! Let me ask you this...

Do you know exactly who your customer is? What do they like? Why did they follow you? If you can't answer these questions.. bingo. This is your issue.

Everything you post must be centered around your customer. If you only post what you want, those who will purchase your products will not naturally come!

REAL TALK. Am I the only one that has 10K photos on their phone because it takes that many to get a couple perfect ones of a new design?!?!?!?

Seriously though. I have 16K photos. My camera roll looks like a crazy lady stole it 😂😂

I had the hardest time when I launched the Muir Cardigan Pattern (above) because I couldn’t determine how to best capture the slouch! Hence, the sassy/ frustrated/ confused/ second photo 🙃

So... am I the only serial photo taker?! Whose with me????!

.. it was in front of a dumpster at a gas station called “The Handy Stop”. Not even joking.

So often we think that being an expert or professional means that ever single moment is perfect. I’m here to tell you it isn’t always glamorous and that’s 100% okay! Some of the BEST moments or photos I’ve ever taken have been in the weirdest, most random places.

Hope I gave you a good laugh 😂 This amazing crochet bag pattern is using rewind yarn, pattern is in my Etsy shop!

All of this snow in MN is giving me some serious mitten vibes 🥰 I’ve considered releasing the pattern for my fleece lining but since it requires sewing / a sewing machine I’m not sure if anyone would find it helpful?! Let me know what you think!

I get it, sometimes goals seem like they’re “out of my reach” and obstacles are “too big to climb”

The only way to reach the unreachable is to break down your goals into smaller tasks. Focus on what you HAVE accomplished and less about what you haven’t.

This mindset gives you a clear head to push out any discouraging feelings. Remember that success is not built overnight, it is grown over time ♥️

This is a big, SCARY moment for me..
. I'm officially taking the plunge and creating a small business coaching series, I've named it Simply Start Up!

I have seen so much content that is hard to understand / doesn't apply to us makers. I knew that I could create something just for us! It includes real, tangible tips and tricks to grow your dream biz. In addition, I will have courses and 1:1 coaching sessions!

Countless friends and family have come to me for guidance. I know that my strategies REALLY WORK! Over the past 6 years I have launched 3 small businesses with financial results that currently match by 9-5 engineering job (Insane right!?!?! I work a full time job!!)

Let's be real though.. 2020 was a tough year for all of us, I want all of you to have the happiness and freedoms that I have found!

I can’t wait to add some fringe and tassels to this amazing throw blanket! The pattern is divided into three parts and I’m incorporating some LB Mandala. If you’re not familiar you have to give it a try it has the prettiest color gradient!

A new knit earring and stud color... “wine”! I couldn’t believe I had left this out of the initial launch... this shade is one of my favorite Wool Ease Thick and Quick colors!
