My grandma sewed a lot for others and saved their scraps. Many ended up here. Then she embroidered each seam. It hung over my bed as a child, but now it is becoming a pillow for my daughter’s very Victorian style. The pale blue rectangle was my mother’s wedding dress.

I have “redecorated” my frig with the sticker magnets that have come from family members’ trips and vacations. That’s about the best I can do this summer between surgeries.
