This time the spotlight will be on local multi-disciplinary artist Marika Marx!
Born and raised in Kailua, Hawaiʻi, she ventured to the continental US to pursue her passion and earn her bachelor’s degree in fine arts. Now based in Missoula, she is the mastermind behind her small business, Bird Brain Creations! Marx is an artist who creates for the people who crave a little magic. You can find Marika live printing at the local summer markets, grateful to connect in the sunshine with her community, sharing her art processes and inspirations. She is an artist who creates with whatever she can get her hands on — from paints to prints to pottery and everything in between. When she isn’t making art, you can find her frolicking through the forest, chatting with the birds, and collecting curiosities to share! Join us June 5th to celebrate another local creative mind 🕊️
