“I’m glad I lived to see it, one more time.” - Col. Tom Kelly

Yesterday was an Alabama opener for the books. Mid afternoon, 1v1 combat with a hard-headed eastern in the Bama pines is what it’s all about. After an incredible morning hunt and actually missing a different bird, I was able to strike this gobbler at 1:30 in the afternoon. He read the script and was at 20 yards within minutes. Extremely grateful for the second opportunity, and pumped to finally be back in the spring turkey woods after a long winter!
