My project is finished!
About a month ago, I saw pictures of a lovely wedding on FB, but what really caught my eye was the stunningly beautiful wedding cake.
A friend  connected me to the bride; I reached out to her and explained I wanted to create a fascinator that looked like the top tier of her wedding cake. Not for her to buy, but for me to give her. She was thrilled!
The joy and the challenge of doing this was worth every minute!

Working on a very special project. I saw something recently that inspired me to interpret it into a fascinator. Not everything I design and create has to be sold; sometimes I make something for the joy of it.
As I watch my hands stitching in this clip I think, wow, these mottled hands look like my grandmother’s. Oh wait! I AM a grandmother! 😄
And God has blessed me with using these old hands to create beautiful things, so I remember it’s not how they look that’s important - it’s how I use them.
