I often remind people that encountering negative or difficult individuals is an unavoidable part of life. Imagine you're walking through a dense forest – it's beautiful, but you're bound to come across a few thorns and rough patches. These encounters are like those thorns. They might be uncomfortable, but they're scattered along the path of our journey. It's not about avoiding these thorny interactions; it's about learning how to navigate through them with grace and resilience.

Our first reaction to negativity is often emotional. Imagine touching a hot stove – your hand instinctively jerks away. Similarly, when we encounter negativity, our instinct might be to react defensively or with anger. I encourage you to recognize these instinctual responses. It's like watching a wave rise in the ocean; you see it, acknowledge it, but you don't have to let it sweep you away.
