Come out and experience Greece in Mobile, Alabama - a yearly opportunity to eat, dance, shop, and be entertained as if you were in Greece itself! All three days, the Hellenic Dancers will be performing on stage, live. Greek music can be enjoyed, and the Church will be open for extra-special tours. As always, the food, desserts, and li

bations are sure to please, from the lamb to the always popular baklava. The ladies will be ready to take your order, with handmade baklava and assorted greek pastries boxed to go! There’s a treasure of Greek jewelry, paintings, clothing, imports, and more available in our indoor marketplace as well. Finally, the success of our Festival depends not only on the hard work of its volunteers and Church community members, but also on our guests. We sincerely appreciate the support you give us in making Greek Fest, Mobile one of our most popular local events.

Golden and crispy Loukoumades 🍯 are fluffy inside and drizzled with sweet syrup, finished with a light dusting of sugar for the perfect bite. They’re warm, soft, and completely irresistible. I’ll leave the recipe in the comments — would you top them with honey or chocolate?

Today is Greek Orthodox Easter- Christos Anesti! Christ is Risen!
*Greeks throughout the US will enjoy bountiful meals today with family and friends as the fast is over!!! 🎉🙏😃✝️

🇬🇷🔥 On Easter Sunday in Greece, the tradition of roasting the lamb brings families and communities together from early morning.

It is more than just food—it is a ritual. The lamb turns slowly over the fire for hours, as friends and family gather around, sharing laughter, wine, and stories. After the solemn atmosphere of Holy Week, this moment marks a joyful return to life and celebration.

Roasting the whole lamb symbolizes sacrifice and Resurrection, deeply rooted in Orthodox faith and Greek heritage. Around it, tables are filled with red eggs, fresh bread, and traditional dishes, as everyone waits to share the feast.

Across the country, this timeless custom unites people—where faith, family, and tradition come together in one of the most meaningful celebrations of the year. ✝️🔥
