I miss you Madre… what I wouldn’t give to answer an incoming call from you only to hear you yelling “Hold on, hold on… my blue tooth isn’t working, hold on”
This used to drive my nuts but I would give anything to hear it. The things that irritated me are the things I miss the most… The multiple calls in one day to tell me the same thing… Your crazy cackle when you were doing something a little wild… Riding in your little red truck, going Mach 4, while you gave $20’s and $100’s to homeless people… Getting coffee regardless of the time of day - hazelnut, lots of cream, lots of sugar. (I still drink hazelnut to this day and you were right, only homemade beats Dunkin)… I’ll have a bottle of Kaluha and a box Ferraro Roche (hazelnut of course) waiting for you this Christmas, it’s the only thing you asked for and I love that we have that tradition. Love you Madre.

Hey all, wanted to give you an update regarding my mom, Lori (aka Crazy Patch Lady). She is getting weaker and more disorientated as her condition has worsened. The staff at Crystal Pines is doing everything possible to make her comfortable as her time nears. If you would like to call, write or visit her; please do so as soon as possible as she is still able to enjoy the time she has left. Hey all, just an update for anyone that may want to visit Lori Sinyard, aka “Crazy Patch Lady”

She’s at Crystal Pines in Crystal Lake, IL and allowed two visitors at a time. The facility requires a minimum of 24 hours notice the day before you plan to visit, just call the front desk at 815-459-7791 (masks are required).

Lori would really appreciate a few minutes of your time to help brighten her day. She really misses you all and I’m sure she would love some company! Thanks ❤️

Update regarding Lori; due to the advanced stage of her illness and her current physical condition, she has decided to chose quality of life over quantity. She is not going to be continuing treatment, as she wants to enjoy whatever time she has remaining. As we all know, she loves to live life to the fullest... and she has come up with a bucket list. I am asking any of her friends or associates to help her fulfill some of these items, if you are able. The first one... a ride on a Trike! If anyone can spare 30 minutes of their time to take this woman on a ride, we would be grateful! Please reach out to her youngest daughter Jessica Sheeler to make arrangements! Thank you!! ❤️🏍🥳

Lori is home from the hospital and a treatment plan has been decided. She is doing well overall but has a difficult road ahead. Please feel free to call and chit chat with her if you can... her spirits are up but misses all her friends and acquaintances!
