Today is Monday, the Moon's day, and even though we're closed, the magick is still here.

Monday belongs to the Moon: receptive, intuitive, protective. Llewellyn George cautioned against launching new ventures or sharing fresh ideas on Mondays, noting that the Moon's changeable nature makes this day better suited for reflection, domestic matters, and tending to what already exists rather than broadcasting what's still forming. The Moon governs our emotional body, our subconscious, our dreams. She rules memory, motherhood, and the tides within us that we can't always name.

The lunar mode expresses itself in both virtue and vice. In virtue, the Moon is nurturing, intuitive, protective, and deeply feeling. She holds space, remembers, and flows with emotional truth. In vice, she becomes moody, overly sensitive, clingy, manipulative, or lost in the undertow of her own emotions. She can drown in nostalgia, refuse to let go, or weaponize vulnerability.

Monday is a day to practice lunar shadow work, to sit with the parts of ourselves that are harder to love. The faces we hide. The emotions we'd rather not claim. The ways we cling, withdraw, or manipulate when we feel unsafe. The Moon doesn't ask us to be perfect. She asks us to be honest. To turn inward and meet what's there without flinching.

A Love Letter to Chaos 🖤

Today is 6/7!!! And I am so absolutely here for it.

I love that the youth of today just adopted this whole thing for no reason other than to exercise free will. No explanation. No permission. Just a mood and a hand gesture that makes absolutely no sense to anyone over 30.

But here is my theory-
It started in a kitchen somewhere, with a line cook saying "6-7 minutes" left on timing that burger throwing up the gesture mid-rush, half-laughing, half-losing it. Kitchen humor from a lifetime cook who's seen it all. And somehow it escaped into the wild and become this whole movement that is effectively a middle finger to structure disguised as numbers. Neat! 🫠

So happy 6-7, everyone. May you exercise your free will with reckless abandon today and every day. Carpe effing diem.

🌼YELLOW MAGICK 🌼

Hey y'all! Brycee here and I've been noticing yellow everywhere this week. In the flowers I stop to look at, the golden herbs I'm drawn to, the food on my plate, even the makeup I've been reaching for. Yellow and gold keep showing up, and I'm paying attention.

Yellow doesn't show up by accident. It's solar plexus energy: personal power, confidence, clarity. It's the sun made visible. When a color starts following you around like this, your energy body is trying to tell you something.

For me, it's been about boundaries. Learning to hold them in my personal relationships, in my professional life, and most importantly, with myself. The solar plexus governs how we show up in the world, how we trust our instincts, how we protect our energy without apology. When it's balanced, we feel clear and capable. When it's not, we give our power away without realizing it.

Yellow is here to remind me to come back to center. To trust what I know. To let myself be seen without shrinking. To say no when I need to and yes when I mean it.

If yellow is calling to you too, work with it. Citrine, yellow jasper, golden healer quartz, pyrite. Golden herbs in your tea or bath. Even the small rituals (choosing that golden eyeshadow, noticing the sunflowers) can remind you that you're worthy of care, of softness, of showing up fully.

Dragons have captivated human imagination for thousands of years, and in Chinese astrology, those born in the Year of the Dragon are said to carry the spirit of this powerful creature: bold, charismatic, ambitious, and fiercely independent. Dragons are natural leaders with big visions and even bigger hearts, though their intensity can sometimes tip into impatience or stubbornness.
