It time for 99x with Springfield Art Museum with the museum being renovated the event will take place at the historic Shrine Mosque this Saturday October 4th.
The theme is 20s Maschera! We will be having a 20s inspired fashion show, charity Casino, amazing tableaux, food and live music.
My tableaux will be a speakeasy bar. And to enter you will have to first fine my "cigarette girl" to get a star pin. Once you enter the bartender will great you with your choice of an "Old Fashion" or a Vodka Gimlet" and you can have a seat and enjoy the night! Get your tickets now!

Thursday July 31st I'll be at Wacky Jack's sewing on patches for bike night!
You should come out and join in the fun. Not only will there be free hamburgers and hot dogs courtesy of Spokes Garage. Hustler Detailing will have a bikini bike wash, and they have a new jewelry person that'll be there, Savage Steel Biker Jewelry.

Before I start to post pictures from Art in Bloom let's do a throw back.
So before the Met Gala did the theme of "gilded glamor" the Springfield Art museum did that theme in 2017 for their event 99X. I was honored to be one of the Tableau artists. I was inspired by the Cloud Ballroom from the Rosecliff mansion. I made both the suit and the dress and I made all the clouds you see in the background.
The best part is 99X will be back on September 24 2022 with a new exciting teme of "The Return of Joy. Inspired by John Grillo's 1960s abstract painting Moon Goloph.

Some times I get out of my studio and do something a little different. I took my 1930s Singer 29-4 leather treadle sewing machine and spent 3 day sewing patches on biker vests. A friend of mine brought her post leather machine that is about the same age and together we stitched on approximately 400 patches.

If you have to wear a mask in public why not wear something fun and unique. And help out a local business owner. And by buying a washable mask you help cut down on waste.
My masks are made using materials recommended by the CDC and local hospitals. They are two layers of cotton with an inner layer of Oly fabric which is similar to surgical drap and is very breathable and water resistant. And all have an adjustable coated wire in the bridge of the nose. And are washable
I make all sizes from child to a large adult mask that accommodate a beard. And I have about 5 designs to help fit your face and make them comfortable. The children mask have adjustable elastic for over the ears. And if you prefer I can replace the elastic with ties. To order just send me a private message. I have tons of fabrics to choose from.
