Funny story for the day. I think some parents would really find this quit hilarious. SO Travis plays Fortnite. In Fortnite if some of you don't know they have different "seasons". When a new season comes out they give you only so much time to try to complete the battle pass. The battle pass is a reward system that rewards you with each level you reach in the game with different character styles, emotes (dance moves) and accessories for your characters. You can always "buy" levels and cheat but Travis works super hard to advance without taking the easy way out. WELL he has been working for months on the battle pass trying to reach the top level. In less than two days the new season will be coming out and he wont be able to get the item's this seasons battle pass is offering when the new season starts. Today he had to do school work and needed to study for a spelling test and an English test. I told him AFTER he's done with all of his school work he can go on the game and continue to work at advancing to the final tier. WELP. I walked in the bedroom to check on my birds, I look over at the TV and I see his Fortnite character hacking away at a computer character in the game thus giving him XP points as he advances. I looked at his XP level and it was going up (meaning he was advancing in levels). This kid took his game control....propped it up against his bed rail so that the railing on his bed was leaning on the trigger button JUST SO THAT his player can hit the computer player and he can level up.
I have no words at how smart this kid is!!! SO his player in the game was advancing and Travis wasn't even playing the game! He was in the next room studying!!!! He can in the bedroom and looked at me with fear thinking I was going to be mad at him. How can I be mad at something to clever! lol
