Folks, I was contacted earlier this week by Robin Lemons regarding the Wake The World program. They are having their annual event on Lake Tillery for foster kids and the autistic from GHA tomorrow, July 11, 2019. They average about 180 kids and volunterers using 16 wake board boats and 6 pontoons. They let the kids try wake boarding, surfing and tubing and travel from Lilly's Bridge to the sandbar near Morrow Mountain where they get to have lunch and enjoy the area. After a rest, they do it again headed back to the marina and enjoy dinner there. Keep your eyes out for these folks on the lake tomorrow and cheer on the ones trying out a new skill and, as always, be safe. ~ Michael
